DOWN MEMORY LANE

My first steps into graphic design

2015 - 2017

This is a selection of my very first work. Off course, these no longer represent my skill, but I think they have played a key role in bringing me to where I am today. The first designs I made weren’t created using Illustrator or Photoshop, I used Microsoft Paint, apps on my phone and Powerpoint to express my creativity.

This is one of my first experiments using Microsoft Paint. It represents how, from the very beginning, I have been experimenting with the boundaries of the tools I had available.

This is the first logo I ever made. Once again, I started off in Microsoft Paint. Soon after, I discovered GIMP. That was an absolute game changer for me. Using GIMP, an open source alternative to Photoshop, I started taking my first more serious steps in the design world. GIMP has probably been one of the most important things that made me discover my love for design.
The logo on the left was made using MsPaint, the others over time using GIMP.

This is another example of a graphic created using GIMP.
